De rechtszaak werd in 2014 opgestart door vzw Klimaatzaak en ondertussen sloten 58586 bezorgde Belgen zich als mede-eiser aan. Wij krijgen geen overheidssteun en zijn volledig afhankelijk van giften om de rechtszaak te financieren. Omdat we transparantie belangrijk vinden, delen we op deze pagina alle nuttige informatie over wie we zijn en wat we met het opgehaalde geld doen.

How do we use donations?
Your contributions help cover legal fees, operational costs, and communications. Any remaining funds after the case will be donated to Belgian organizations and projects focused on ecology and sustainable transition.

Who is Climate Case?
A skilled legal team
Les maîtres Audrey Baeyens et Carole Billiet du cabinet Baeyens & Billiet, ainsi que le maître Roger Cox du cabinet Paulussen advocaten, qui a gagné l'affaire néerlandaise sur le climat en 2015 et l'affaire Shell en 2021, représentent l’Affaire Climat et tou.te.s les codemandeu.r.se.s. Pour la procédure en cassation, les maîtres Paul Wouters et Jacqueline Oosterbosch prennent les rênes.
Leadership and coordination
The governing board, composed of eight members, sets our strategic direction. Day-to-day operations are overseen by our director, Sarah Tak, who manages all coordination. She receives bookkeeping support from Fidiaz, while Unanimous and Cypres assist with communications.
A movement of dedicated individuals
Founded in 2014 by 11 concerned citizens, Climate Case was born out of the determination to challenge Belgium's inadequate climate policies. Today, the initiative is supported by 22 ambassadors and more than 40 committed volunteers, all working together toward a common goal.
